Today IKEA have several Development Engineers and Specialists that work with developing customer and environmental friendly solutions for IKEAs home furnishing products. 

In order to develop next generation plastic product suppliers, we need to strengthen our organisation with skilled and experienced Development Engineers

In this role, your main assignment will be to lead the technical agenda in prioritized development projects in close collaboration with suppliers and IKEA colleagues.

You will be driving development projects with focus on new Industry standards, Production optimization and Quality compliance.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership with good communication skills.
  • Proven project management experience, leading projects in international environment.
  • Knowledge of new Industry standards, production optimization and quality compliance.
  • 5+ years working experience in the relevant area – plastic background needed
  • Knowledge of plastic injection moulding process and the polymer industry will be great.
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and orally.
