The focus of the Maintenance department is to ensure high utilization and high efficiency in our production that is running around the clock 365 days a year. It’s a highly complex process to produce boards as we do and it’s most important that the production runs smoothly all year round. As Mechanical Manager, you are expected along with your team to develop, plan, implement and monitor activities in your area. You should be familiar with the work based on KPI’s, feel a strong commitment to leadership with the ability to motivate and develop others. To be successful in your work, you should have the engineering and maintenance experience in a highly automatized production, preferably from the wood industry.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you need to:
•    Have leadership experience
•    Have proven experience in developing and optimizing industrial production. 
•    Have worked with implementation or use of Lean Production methodology.
•    Be action-oriented, decisive and result driven.
•    Have an assertive and self-confident personality, with much willpower and drive along with a listening leadership.
•    Have strong and adequate interpersonal skills.
•    Be a team builder and team player.
 
To enjoy working in this role you have to be an excellent troubleshooter and be a person who pays attention to provide excellent service to other departments within the company. You are ambitious, positive, flexible and are used to have a lot of things going on at the same time. You are used to work in a high pace and have the ability to contribute with and implement new ideas. You also need to have a sane and cost conscious mindset to be able to find cost-efficient solutions within the maintenance area. It is an advantage if you have been working with similar tasks before in order to understand the internal customer’s need. You are a good communicator and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
