Test Manager within the Delivery & Settlement team in Solution Area Order & Delivery, Business Solutions Range & Supply, IKEA of Sweden

Our Supplying system landscape is grouped into different Solution Areas, where the Solution Area “Order & Delivery” today supports more than 15 000 users throughout Supplying in the areas of Order, Customs and Delivery & Settlement.

The Delivery & Settlement area is currently going through a major transformation, where our core home built business solutions are being replaced with standard “off the shelf” solutions. The main initiative in this transformation - ITM Planned for Growth (IPG) – has recently been established to finalize the development and implementation of IKEA’s new Transport Management solution – ITM.

We are now looking for a Test Manager to help us establishing quality assured solutions, prepared for future growth.

We are looking for a Test Manager to our Delivery & Settlement team
Are you passionate about providing valuable information about quality to decision-making stakeholders? Do you have an eye for details while maintaining a holistic view? Do you want to lead the work of setting the strategic and tactical stage for how we define and implement Test Management in the Delivery & Settlement solution domain? The assignment

As Test Manager in our team, you are responsible to set the overall architecture for Test Management in the Delivery & Settlement solution domain. This includes defining and implementing a context based Test Management process, enforced by current Test Policy and Test Standards; identifying and establishing supporting test tools, frameworks and environments; identifying and enforcing relevant test types and techniques; and setting up a suitable Test Management governance.

From an operational perspective, you are expected to manage test acceptance activities, including planning, execution control, as well as reporting & follow-up. 
You will also be the designated driver and point of contact for test needs between integrated solutions.

This assignment requires strong and persistent stakeholder management, excellent communication and people coordination, as you will work cross multiple solution teams and with different types of Stakeholders.

We are also now in a transition phase from a big project mode, STMS, to line organization via IPG initiative and that will demand structure and ability to handle a changing world but also possibility to form your own work and agenda.

Are you the right candidate? 
We believe you have 5+ years’ experience from Test Management/Test Architecture.
You have strong experience from Test Automation and Performance Testing.
You have experience with Test Driven Development.
You have experience working in an agile environments.
You have hands-on experience from process design & implementation.
You have solid experience from Risk-based testing. 
We expect that you have experience from Configuration Management
You are able to see the big picture as well as the details, and you can structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. 
You are experience working in Onsite-Offshore model. (In a very long term, manage test as a service from offshore – India) 
You are a strong team-player, sharing information and engaging the team to look at things from another perspective.
