IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

Job Description

As a HR Business Analyst you are an important part of the Range & Supply HR Operations team. You will work in projects globally with the aim to change and modernize the digital HR landscape. You will work closely with IKEAs local country HR representatives based globally, and report to the HR Competence Manager.

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for clarifying business needs on a global level, and to create the bridge between the projects and the business as well as coordinating local country needs. You will work on several projects simultaneously.

Some of the responsibilities include:

•    identifying improvements and document stakeholder needs and business requirements;
•    identifying business consequences and risks for solution alternatives;
•    challenging and assuring quality of stakeholder needs, business requirements and to support the evaluation of solution alternatives with identified business requirements;
•    setting up a business analysis approach and plan, to support the selected business development activities (projects & releases);
•    consulting in the definition and validation of high level & low level design for business development activities (projects & releases) in cooperation with the solution architect and vendor resources;
•    reviewing test plans and test cases to ensure compliance to the requirements. Consult in the planning and execution of testing activities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we see that you have a relevant university degree and good understanding of business contexts. Since this role is mainly related to digital solutions, we see that you have good knowledge working with payroll and other HR system solutions. You have experience working in projects, and is experienced in defining requirements both with internal and external stakeholders. We also wish that you have an understanding of test methodology and have participated in test activities. This role requires that you can work in a changing environment, where processes aren’t necessarily in place.

•    are good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities;
•    have ability to extract information, find patterns, see new opportunities and possibilities in an analytical and very structured manner;
•    can work in a fast paced environment, without compromising on the quality of your work;
•    are excellent in listening, have good communication skills and an ability to describe complex scenarios in a structured, comprehensive way for the intended audience; 
•    are able to interact and communicate with strong stakeholders confidently, understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you;
•    have ability to work with the big picture and in small details;
•    have good understanding of project and software lifecycle management;
•    are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
