IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

We are now looking for a Compensation and Benefit Specialist to join our exciting journey and who is interested in working across units in Range & Supply!

About the assignment

As Compensation and Benefit Specialist you are a strong contributor in the Range & Supply HR team, using the specialist competence in the context of Compensation and Benefits and knowledge of internal and external market to support the business leaders and HR colleagues, securing that the HR and Compensation and Benefits policies are executed in the most effective and efficient way.

The Compensation and Benefit agenda is based on IKEA framework but locally applied according to country requirements and market situation. You as Compensation and Benefit Specialist will play an important part in cases when coordination or specific support is needed from an international perspective. 

Your main responsibilities will be to:

•    Understand business context, issues and challenges to provide specific advice and support to HR managers and line managers;
•    Support, coordinate and align the organization to create a context of Total rewards according to the Compensation and Benefits framework;
•    Collect internal and external data and conduct the analysis to provide support to the organisation in Compensation and Benefits related question;
•    Proactively collaborate with HR and managers to identify Total Rewards initiatives, solutions, issues and concerns around the world;
•    Develop way of working with position evaluations;
•    Actively work on implementing and executing our Total Rewards offering in a consistent and aligned way across the organization.

Qualifications

You will be passionate about people and want to contribute to increasing engagement and commitment through our Total Rewards framework. We believe that you have a proven track of experience from a similar role with experience of implementing Total Rewards policies, processes, regulations and legislation. Your educational background is within Human Resources or similar field. Good knowledge of related HR processes and ways of working (e.g. international recruitment, performance management etc.) is a must. It is important that you have knowledge of pay structure and compensation programmes.

As a person, you are analytical, structured and methodical. You have a good capability to handle and analyse quantitative data. You will be able to show how you have built strong relationships with key stakeholders and will be able to confidently navigate in a complex environment where interdependency and team work are critical. 

You need to have strong integrity, be business oriented and you are excellent at building strong working relationships as you will interact and work together with IKEA colleagues from all around the world. You have good communication skills and you are fluent in English.
