We are now looking to recruit Business Information Purchasing to our Purchasing office in Älmhult to join our exciting journey! 

ABOUT THE JOB

As Business Information, you work every day together with the Purchasing business teams and decision makers to support Purchasing in decision making and achieving results by delivering relevant and accurate information at the right time, based on business needs. You support and train Purchasing business teams to understand principles and calculation methods of key performance indicators.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

Your main responsibilities as Business Information Purchasing are:

• Support with accurate and relevant reporting to get a fact-based picture of the business situation as base for decision.
• Promote and support usage of global business information and user-friendly standard reporting tools as preferred tools to support performance navigation.
• Produce ad hoc reports when standard solutions are not available to satisfy business needs.
• Identify current and future business needs and determine relevant information/reporting required to provide needed information.
• Assist to secure data quality of Purchase business information and use information from the data sources.
• Perform and present preliminary business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks.
• Develop and implement tools to support business plans and action plans processes; consolidate information and perform analysis on aggregated level.
• Support and train co-workers to understand principles and calculation methods of key performance indicators.
• Contribute in the development and implementation of tools and IT applications specific to Purchasing.

Leadership capability, ability to create clarity and strong analytical skills is a must, as is having both a holistic view and an eye for details. You will partner with the business to make an impact on the current and future business of home furnishing. You are humble, have willpower and the ability to create togetherness and enthusiasm around you. You are flexible, used to handling changes and are always striving for simplicity in everything you do. You work proactively, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions and optimize and challenge the existing ones.

In the role of Business Information Purchasing we expect you to have:

• Experience from working with performance management, such as Business Controller or IT support.
• Experience from informal leadership and coaching others.
• A background from finance, business administration, economics, IT or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of calculation systems, MS office package, reporting tools and business information tools such as Qlikview.
