About the job

The HR Manager is responsible for driving the People agenda with the long term ambition that IKEA Industry Älmhult should be appreciated and recommended as a great place to work. You will implement, support and follow up on strategies, processes and tools in the HR area. Main focus areas are culture & values, attract & recruit, develop competence, workplace & organisation and leading in the IKEA way.

The HR Manager plays a key role in the organisation and works in partnership with all managers to provide both expertise and support. In the position there is also a responsibility and opportunity to contribute in leading the whole site, as part of the management team for IKEA Industry Älmhult. You participate in the operational and strategic development of the factory and supporting activities for growth and increased profitability within the unit.

This position is located in Älmhult and reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Älmhult plant. You will have one HR administrator reporting to you.

We believe that you have a university degree within HR or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from working with HR, preferably within manufacturing driven operation. You are an experienced leader with a broad knowledge of HR practises, policies, processes and regulations. You have knowledge about Swedish labor law and experience with dealing with Union relations.

As a person you show high level of integrity and you are business minded with a very strong people focus. You have strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, clarify and negotiate. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
