ICOM produces IKEA.com, which is visited around 1.6 billion times a year. We're also behind the IKEA catalogue with a yearly circulation of around 230 million copies. On top of that, we churn out a ton of content for social media, not to mention motion media and 3D work so cutting edge that it makes the folks in California sit up and take notice. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe. 

Right now we're looking for Project leaders in 3D communications. Someone who’s passionate about production of global 3D communications (e.g AR, VR, 3D business and pictures etc), who navigates in 3D possibilities, always on the outlook for the solution that fits the message and the frames that fits the solution.Someone with curiosities about the future of new things.

The 3D Communications Business Area at IKEA Communications carries out all projects involving global 3D communication at IKEA. Our mission is to create and produce excellent communication that positions IKEA as a strong, unique, dynamic and innovative brand.

As Project Leader in 3D Communications you are responsible for the production of global 3D communications projects and secure assignor satisfaction by delivery of high quality communication in time, at a low cost and within agreed budget. To make this possible, you will take lead of of an internal/external team as well as drive development, using 3D as a foundation.

 

In the role you will:

  • Lead diverse teams assigned for each project.
  • Work closely together with assignors, ICOM Business Areas and/or other 3D production & development companies.
  • Be accountable for planning of production of communications towards the assignors as well as other stakeholders and partners.
  • Take responsibility for the business aspects of the projects; create and agree on quotations, debrief, identify deviations and secure delivery within agreed time and budget, ensure that these are communicated to and understood by relevant stakeholders as well as the production team.
  • Identify consequences of deviations from agreed project plan with regards to quality, time and cost, communicate conseqences with relevant stakeholders and secure decisions needed to move forward.
  • Negotiate contracts with freelancers and sub-suppliers and follow up the project budget.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, strong strategic communications skills.
  • Experience as main responsible Project Leader for several campaigns/projects, preferably for international clients that have been proven successful. 
  • Proven experience in managing client/multiple stakeholder management and successful in conducting negotiations.
  • Planning and budget management.
  • Proven record of consistently meeting agreed deadlines and goals.
  • Self-driven, strong team skills, also has ability to lead and facilitate creative processes.
  • Excellent networking skill, a quick learner and ambassador of the IKEA values
  • Fluent in English and good communication.
