The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.

• Responsible for setting up standards and processes in the field of facility management / management of operating activities, regular analyzes to improve, etc. /

• Management and tracking of technical documentation for building and equipment

• Responsibility for monitoring and ensuring regular revisions of buildings and facilities (sprinklers, compressors, infra-red heaters and others).

• Coordinates and supports facility management activities and provides sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for IKEA co-workers, visitors and business partners

• Ensures that the provided services related to the administration of buildings and equipment in all areas are in compliance with local legislation and internal regulations.

• Responsibility for the selection of external suppliers of goods and services related to the facility management in accordance with IKEA internal regulations.

• Cooperation with other functions (Safety, Maintenance, P&D organization, etc.)

• Contribution to budget and forecast preparation from the investment and cost point of view.

• Organize and co-ordinate all building related maintenance activities according legal aspects

• Secure that the safety and security demands on technical equipment and building (internal and external) are respected

• Ensure the asset value of the site by optimal housekeeping, technical and building maintenance.

• Ensure that all work is carried out according legal requirements, Group Documents and other company concepts and standards

• Procure and manage service providers and contractors for the facility operations.

• Work proactively to optimize the operating costs by identifying cost savings.

• Work on continual improvement of cooperation with suppliers with view to ensuring best price, quality and delivery date for goods and services.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the project leaders.

KNOWLEDGE:

·         Fluent verbal and written communication skills

·         Competence in written and spoken English

·         Very good presentation and organization skills.

·         Ability to translate business and technical needs into operational actions and solutions.

·         Good practical knowledge of administration

·         Knowledge in purchasing process and negotiation skills

·         Good level in Microsoft Office applications and Power point
