Solution Owner for LBD in Solution Area – Order & Delivery within the Delivery & Settlement team

Our Supplying system landscape is grouped into different Solution Areas and today the Solution Area “Order & Delivery” supports more than 15 000 users throughout Supplying in the areas of Order, Customs and Delivery & Settlement. As our current Solution Owner will move on to new challenges, we are now looking for a Solution Owner for Logistical Base Data (LBD).

LBD is a global solution consisting of processes, roles & responsibilities and IT system to handle Master Data and Network Management for Logistics. A spider in web solution for transport purchase, planning, execution and settlement!
 

As a Solution Owner you will lead and secure optimal utilization of the solution, support the business development of IT-related business needs and run of the Solution. The standard product in the background for LBD is IBM Sterling. 
 

Your assignment is to…

• Ensure that the users of the solution have a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business goals. The Solution Owner has the best knowledge within IKEA of the solution from a functionality/business perspective.
• Secure competence development and training needs of your solutions.
• Secure and maintain Super User network.
• Lead continuous improvement of the solution with an up and running Super User Network.
• Be accountable for solution delivery of the your solution including business development, release management, life cycle management and the operation (run) of the solution, business continuity and business support.
• Define and agree on SLA (Service Level Agreement) for your solution.
• Be responsible to create and maintain a solution roadmap.
• Manage budget for your solution, provide budget input for the solution area, follow up & review forecasts and accruals. 
• Lead/participate in Solution (e.g. Change Control Board) and Supplier (Software and/or Application Maintenance and Support vendors) governance forums. 
• Secure established ways of working for the solution.
• Manage key stakeholder expectations through strong relationships. Interact with super users, process and business functions, Application Maintenance & Support vendors and software suppliers (tactical & operational discussions), Operations & Shared Service, Architecture and other relevant functions.
• Responsible for solution compliance with rules and standards (e.g. information security) and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g. General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) as well as adherence to relevant delivery process standards.

Solution Area Order & Delivery is a part of Business Solutions Range & Supply at IKEA of Sweden.
Business Solutions Range & Supply deliver expertise in business development as well as securing the running business. We empower our co-workers, customers and suppliers with the right solutions to optimise the customer experience and contribute to a growing IKEA.

The role of Business Solutions Range & Supply is to:
• deliver competence to support and develop business solutions
• have an end to end accountability for solutions, enhancements and projects
• manage one agreed and steered business solutions agenda in Range & Supply

Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of approximately 230 co-workers based in different legal units globally all across Range & Supply. We have our main hubs in Älmhult, Helsingborg, Dortmund and Pratteln. This position will, preferably, be based in Sweden or Switzerland but you will need to travel to other IKEA units to support running projects, roll-outs and your user network.
