At IKEA Food Services AB we are 120 passionate food lovers that from our Malmö office develop and provide food, sold and served in IKEA Restaurants, Swedish Food Markets and Bistro´s in 48 markets. Among our Retail Partners there are 18.000 food co-workers serving 640 million food visitors in the IKEA stores around the world.

In this role you will be part of securing product compliance within a specific region as well as creating processes and ways of working on these topics in IKEA Food. We are growing, which means you will be working with both current, but also completely new markets.

In this role you:

• Are responsible for creating a regulatory network in South American countries and to be on top of the latest regulatory developments.
• Contribute to develop working methods to monitor legislation in new and existing markets.
• Monitor legislation and perform consequence analysis on changes in legislation in new and existing markets and cascade this into the organization.
• Are an important part of the new markets team, adding your competence and expertise to reach our goals
• Support the product development teams.
• Represent IKEA Food in relevant external communities.
• Work closely with the Product Information Leader.
• Contribute to establish a strong quality culture among all IKEA Food co-workers.

We are looking for candidates that have work experience in food legislation and interpretation in South American countries, as well as a great passion for food! Typically you have a background in regulatory/public affairs in a commercial environment within fast moving consumer goods and you master Spanish and preferably the Portuguese language.

You are a good communicator with the ability to work with consultants and authorities. The skills of building networks and trustful relations will be important and require that you share and learn openly with others. You lead by example, take responsibility for your own growth and development in the role, as well as being a true team player and contribute with competence to the rest of the team. Your problem solving and structured approach is obvious and you are improvement driven, self-motivated alongside with being result orientated and focused on details.

You want to be part of a developing, changing business based on values and you have the interest and ability to handle and drive change in a complex, fast paced, international environment. Fluent verbal and written English is a pre-requisite.
