About the job
As a co-createIKEA Labs Leader you will be a part of the process of designing and setting up a physical place for co-creation, working with the first Lab here in Älmhult, with the process in enable the capability of starting other pop-up Labs and run Labs in new locations around the world. You will test different capabilities and set goals to improve the place and the activities with the aim to engage people as a competence that will add new value to the development process at IKEA. You will constantly evaluate the work by challenging our existing ways of working, making sure that the place and the activities fits the many different target groups and engaging partners involved, in order to find new ways to solve future challenges in people’s life at home.

As a Co-createIKEA Labs Leader you will be responsible for:

• Establish, sustain and develop co-createIKEA Labs to deliver to the strategic direction, goals and objectives
• Define how we will work with co-create Labs around the world
• Implement and secure that all initiatives and projects within the co-createIKEA Labs portfolio are meeting set objectives and goals
• Secure a common, user friendly and simple way for IKEA to work with co-createIKEA Labs which supports capturing ideas and learning
• Coach other areas of the business in how to work with co-create IKEA Labs, enabling others to utilise its full potential
• Secure IKEA identity within all physical Labs, including culture and values
• Lead a world class on-location experience for all collaborators within the co-createIKEA Labs
• Bridge the online to offline experience within co-createIKEA
• Contribute to establish and sustain ways of working towards the goals and objective of co-createIKEA along with the rest of the co-createIKEA team

About you
As a person you have a proven ability in the area of leading and facilitating the idea generation and innovation processes. Driven by curiosity, you are well aware of new concepts, upcoming technologies and societal movements. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trustful and successful relationships with both internal and external partners. You feel comfortable in managing multiple tasks and leading business in a complex environment, globally and remotely. With a passion for solving problems for the many people you capture learning to improve ways of working and to reach better solutions.

To be able to succeed in the role you need to have:

• A degree or higher-level qualification in a related discipline (communication design, product design, interaction design, psychology, sociology, journalism etc.)
• 5years relevant experience in business and across different business domains in various markets and cultures
• Successful experience in co-creating solutions with different communities, preferably both online and offline, and establishing and developing innovation Labs on a global company
• Proven track record in bringing different communities together to solve complex problems
• Experience from working in global environment, preferably in the consumer goods sector
• Strong knowledge and experience of creating and developing solutions using scalable methodology
