Job Description
As a Product Requirement Engineer your will work with the development of new products and improvements of running range. You will work together with development teams and have the responsibilities of the requirements in the development process. You will be responsible to identify and create product requirements and choose test methods for the products. You will also contribute to the creation of new and additional development tests needed for product validation that will contribute to a better quality, safer products with higher customer satisfaction.
You need to have good insight into specifications, test methods and being updated on changes in legislation and other external requirements that may influence the product areas under your responsibility. To be successful you need to be able to communicate and cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders like the development team, the purchasing organization and the suppliers.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who have the passion in working with products that gives the many people their pure drinking water, someone who have the knowledge, the drive and the industrial experience from the field of taps or sanitary and the ambition to work with the certifications and requirements on a global market.

We are looking for someone who wants to be the cog in the technical team, who has a solid industrial experience from the field of taps or sanitary fitting production.
You are an experienced engineer working with requirements in the process of product development, product improvement and technical solutions both with new products and running range together with the R & D team. You have experience of solutions and knowledge in material such as solid steel, brass, plastics and chrome plating.
You have an university degree in engineering or equivalent job related experience.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to take the lead in your own work as well as in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders. You have experience from product development and probably supply chain- and production knowledge and are skilled in requirement management and verification planning. IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world. You therefore need to be fluent in English.
