About the Job

In this role, you will help contribute to growth and profitability of Inter IKEA by handling the flow of people through the business in professional and efficient manner, acting as Inter IKEA ambassador and ensure compliance to office and safety policies.

About the Assignment

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide Front desk reception duties for the office which includes handling of all phone calls. Receive visitors in a professional manner, notifies the relevant IKEA co-worker of the visitor arrival.
  • Maintain security by monitoring logbook and issuing visitor badges
  • Ensure all visitors and co-workers are accounted for in case of emergency evacuation
  • Support efficient operation of the office by tracking all incoming and outgoing mails and courier items
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance for office equipment (printers, coffee machine, etc.)
  • Assist with ordering and administrating office supplies and goods
  • Create and distribute new coworker badges
  • Monitor Office Support general email inbox and take action as needed
  • Conduct weekly checks of conference rooms and printer supplies
  • Collect feedback and implement office policy changes as needed
  • Assist with project and event planning
  • Work with external vendors to provide efficient and effective services to coworkers
  • Any other projects or tasks relating to office administration as needed


Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and speak in English

Must have 3 or more years of relevant office experience

Minimum of high school diploma is required

Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Professional programs is preferred
