About the assignment
The Sales Responsible is a key position within IKEA and plays a major role in the product development processes by securing the commercial perspective and creating the link between our sales channels and IKEA of Sweden.
As Sales Responsible you need to be experts in what our customers and markets need and want. Their contribution is incorporating market need into business and product development and delivering business priorities to retail.

About the job
You feed the product development process with customer behaviour and needs from global market.
You provide competitor information and market trends for the specific home furnishing areas.
You drive key sales processes
You lead and influence different stakeholders from a retail and customer perspective to secure commercial success of the range in all IKEA sales channels.

About you
The Sales Responsible position is a challenging and rewarding position with enormous impact on business and the many people around the world but it needs something to be successful. To be able to deliver in this role, the Sales Responsible should have:
• Solid commercial retail knowledge and insights in the various sales channels (good knowledge of online retailing is a big plus)
• Strong leadership capabilities paired with excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to work in the team is required
• A strong business sense and analytical and financial competence
• Strong insights in the customer needs, behaviours and decision journey in the various sales channels from global perspective
