IKEA Range & Supply is a core business within Inter IKEA Group, responsible for developing and supplying the global IKEA range. IKEA Supply AG is the central wholesale company of the Inter IKEA Group. It owns the IKEA Products in the distribution centres, is responsible for cross-border flows and replenishment, and the sale of IKEA Products to the IKEA franchisees. The Finance organisation at IKEA Supply AG is responsible for financial matters of the entity. Direct Tax is part of the Finance organisation and ensures compliance with tax laws and manages the risks posed by noncompliance with the law by supporting the Range & Supply entities with tax  advice, transfer pricing support and audit management services.

Job Description

The purpose of the job is to ensure compliance with tax laws and to support Range & Supply entities in direct tax matters. Areas of focus are income tax audit support, transfer pricing, tax advice on business changes  and tax compliance. 

In the assignment you will also work with:

  • Transfer Pricing documentation and analysis, alignment with operations.

  • Tax advice on business changes/projects (risks, transfer pricing, legal structure).

  • Corporate Income Tax compliance.

  • Raise awareness about tax and related risks.

  • Contribute to development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.

  • Manage and review IKEA SUpply AGs tax filings.

  • Monitor tax litigations.

  • Support and maintain an efficient tax structure.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in tax advisory services, consultation and audit support with an advisory firm or large multinational company.
  • A university degree in Taxation or equivalent.
  • Broad technical knowledge of transfer pricing practices and guidelines and related experience.
  • Knowledge of tax and contract law, as well as the tax application of the law.

  • A strategic and critical thinking, and an analytical mind able to see the "big picture" and to assess risks in order to provide sound advice.

  • The ability to work effectively with many colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds to achieve common goals.

  • A constant desire to achieve the best result possible.

  • A constant desire to change and adapt to a dynamic tax environment.

  • Excellent communication, documentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
