Job Description

About the assignment
The Sales Responsible is a key position within IKEA and plays a major role in the product development processes by securing the link between our sales channels and IKEA of Sweden.
Together with the Product Offer Development team they are responsible for developing, revising and leading implementation for cluster of products (news, moves, improves) as well as commercial activities connected. Furthermore they are responsible to transfer knowledge from market insights, define sales potential and range classification and contribute to the projects including the cost of phasing in/out.
As Sales Responsible you need to be experts in what our customers and markets need and want. Their contribution is incorporating market need into business development and delivering business priorities to retail .You need to initiate and propose activities to secure sales results and range potentials on the global market.

About the job
You feed the product development process with customer behaviour and needs from global market.
You provide competitor information and market trends for the specific home furnishing areas.
You provide detailed sales reports and analytics for the specific home furnishing areas.
You lead and influence different stakeholders from a retail and customer perspective to secure commercial success and acceptance of the range in the IKEA sales channels.

Qualifications

About you

To be able to deliver in this global role, the Sales Responsible should have:
• Solid commercial retail knowledge and insights in the various sales channels.
• A strong business sense paired with excellent communication and influencing skills is required
• Solid knowledge on the sales competence areas (planning, steering, pricing etc.)
• Strong insights in the customer needs, behaviours and decision journey in the various sales channels from global perspective
• Strong analytical and financial competence                                                                                                                                                                              

•Digital and multichannel retail knowledge is advantage

IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English.

Please note that this job-posting is about building up a bank of candidates for future Sales responsible vacancies that we expect in IKEA of Sweden over the next 3 to 12 months.
