Job Description

As a Need Planner your role is to secure availability of the product range by collaborating effectively with all supply chain partners in order to reach the goal of the lowest possible supply chain cost.
As a Need Planner you have the opportunity to work on a global scene, through and with supply colleagues around the world to achieve common goals! You are globally responsible for balancing the customer need against supplier capacities. This means that you create an executable supply plan for a given range and ensure that orders are exported according to this. Furthermore, you plan goods flow in the product change process (both phasing in and out of products), communicate and handover this plan to the purchasing operations organization and regional supply teams for execution. The Need Planner leads initiatives together with regional supply teams in order to secure availability for our customers.

Qualifications

For this position it is an advantage if you have experience from being a Need planner. To be successful in this role we believe that you: 
• Have proven experience as need planner or within supply, preferably in an international environment.
• Have a university degree in business/economics/logistics and preferably 2-3 years of relevant planning experience
• Truly living our values and are passionate about children, the most important people in the world
• Are comfortable in taking the lead and in motivating and inspiring others, and you do this with a clear and convincing way of communicating
• Have a problem solving approach with strong analytical skills and the ability to think conceptually
• Have the ability to work with a holistic perspective, from supplier to customer, as well as the capability to be in details
• Have the ability to communicate in a clear, structured and honest way
• Enjoy working towards fixed time frames and deadlines, driving assignments remotely
• Lead by example and have the ability to bring out the best in other team members
• Are fluent in English, both written and verbally

The position is permanent and located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
