Solution Area Plan and Balance Sales and Supply (PBSS) is looking for a Solution Owner in the Need & Capacity team that will be responsible for the application Demand and Supply Planning.
Job Description
As a Solution Owner you will be
responsible for and lead the work with the application Demand and Supply Planning – Fulfillment (DSP).
The main areas of DSP Fulfilment are need calculation, safety stock calculation and check & secure supplier capacity. We work throughout the whole supply chain with a global network from suppliers to our stores, generating order proposals and supply plans.
You have the end-to-end accountability for the DSP application. You are responsible for securing that the application work in an optimal way today and that it is developed to meet the needs of tomorrow. It is also your responsibility to secure that the users of the application understand why and how to use it in an optimal way.
You are responsible for securing the lifecycle management of the application, including requirement management and tests as well.
As a Solution Owner for DSP you play an important role in securing that our products are available to our customers exactly when and where they choose to buy them. This you not do all on your own, however. You work together with the users, matrices, process owners as well as our IT partners both internally within IKEA and external partners in order to make this happen.
Qualifications
We think that you have an ability to influence and lead other people i.e. working through others. You also have an ability to prioritise and assign tasks.
You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and can describe complex things in a simple and comprehensive way.
You are able to interact with strong stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
We believe you have experience working with solutions and/or ways of working connected to the supply chain planning process.
