IKEA Purchasing & Logistics Area South East Europe is part of IKEA Range & Supply and in this role you will be part of an international team.

You will support this journey by delivering expertise in business development while safeguarding running business. This way, together we empower our co-workers, customers and suppliers with the right solutions to optimize the customer experience and contribute to a growing IKEA.
The Business Developer develops and implements common action plans with suppliers, delivering excellent performance in running operations and building professional long term business development. The Business Developer identifies and acts on new purchasing possibilities in order to secure optimal sourcing set-up.

About the assignment

Your tasks will include:

  • Be overall responsible for supplier performance and relationship.
  • Lower total cost at supplier level through optimizing value chain.
  • Work together with IKEA of Sweden to integrate opportunities and act on deviations to Sourcing Assignment.
  • Lead "Supplier Development Process" to create and implement action plans together with suppliers.
  • Secure compliance to IKEA Purchasing Manual and other agreed working methods.
  • Take the role as IKEA ambassador when communicating with external parties.

About the company
IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.
