About the job

As our new colleague and Business Controller, you will be part of the finance department and responsible for driving the financial and performance agenda across all component business areas in IKEA Components. Within the field of controlling, you will support various stakeholders with both the business and financial perspective. You will have opportunities to influence and develop our ways of working. In this role, you will be reporting to the Business Finance Manager and is part of the Business Steering Matrix within IKEA Components.

The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.

About the assignment
 
Your main responsibilities as Business Controller are: 
• Support in leading the forecast and budget process, overall cost allocations, financial results and price settings. Working closely with all parts of the organisation.
• Find the right sets of data, compile it in a flexible and user friendly way and to perform analysis.
• Secure that correct financial information is available when needed.
• Co-ordinate the performance and financial updates sent out to the organization.
• Be ambassador for standard business solutions and common tools.
• Secure that analytical tools are available for producing reports and analysis.
• Be an active support to IKEA Components Business Finance Manager and the senior Finance Business Navigator.

Qualifications

About you

We believe in order to be successful in this role, you need to have minimum of 3 years of previous experience working with Business Controlling, Business or Financial Analysis. 
You have an academic degree within the area of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a similar area. You are experienced in working with BI tools, such as Cognos, Qlikview and/or TM1. Moreover, you have strong analytical skills, have a good understanding of quantitative calculation methods and how to practically perform analysis. Your strong communication skills enables you to engage people, both inside and outside the function, by creating a passion for objectives, plans and processes. When facing challenges, you take them on with a positive and solution-oriented approach. You have the ability to see the big picture and able to identify the details crucial for the big picture.

As a person you are curious and strive to continuously develop yourself and the processes you work with. You get energy from working both together with other people and from working independently. You are good at asking the right questions, and dare to challenge others. Since IKEA Components is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world, you need to be fluent in English.
