Job Description

As a Deputy Supply Manager for Business Area Kitchen & Dining you are, together with the Supply Manager, responsible for leading and developing the supplying processes in a business context. You are responsible for availability at the lowest supply chain cost possible of the products within the Business Area on a global level. This you will achieve by working close together with your group of Demand Planners and Need Planners, but also by working close with Regional Supply Team (where the Kitchen & Dining team is our matrix responsibility) and to the Category organisation. The assignment is to be close with your Demand Planners working closely with Retail and at the same time be close with your Need Planners that are closer to the supplier capacities and sending capabilities, making sure that we create the best possible executable plan to ensure availability to lowest cost. Having this assignment in Business Area Kitchen & Dining demands more collaboration to ensure that we plan complete kitchens in a holistic view  and with the complexity for the dining range ensure availability, everything for when customers what to have it taken home or delivered.
You are also part of the Supply Manager matrix for IKEA of Sweden where you are contributing to new and improved ways of working.

You also contribute to the development of the Business Plan and Action Plan process within Kitchen & Dining. You lead the implementation of the decided supply- and logistical action plan together with different partners in our Supply chain. We are taking our first steps of entering a multi-channel retailing environment which will put new demands on our logistics. We truly want to be the ambassadors for availability and that our mind set, actions and result will be an inspiration for the rest of IKEA, as deputy supply manager for Kitchen & Dining this is our top focus.

Qualifications

Is this the next challenge for you?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have;
· A university degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience
· Experience from leading people and processes within Logistics/Operations, preferably from Retail environment
· Authentic IKEA leadership
· Excellent communication and planning skills with a clear and structured approach
· Experience from multichannel retailing is considered a plus
