IKEA of Sweden plays an important role as the heart of IKEA and to strengthen the IKEA brand. What IKEA of Sweden is doing in our work places, most other offices in the IKEA world follow. We are looking for a project leader who will be involved and drive physical building projects and mainly for the future working places for IKEA of Sweden. It is about creating excellent prerequisites for a better work environment that are maintained according to the year cycle. It is important to inspire co-workers in a positive way with our values visually and excellence in implementation. The input to your work comes from Voice surveys and fact based ergonomic and work environmental researches. Every day brings new challenges and you will be an important part of the solution.

Job Description

Assignment

As a Project leader - Communication & Interior Design, you will together with a team, develop, plan and implement future office areas to all co-workers at IKEA of Sweden and in this way, create prerequisites and enable better working environment to create a better everyday life for the many people. In your assignment, you will make plans for needed specialist recourses (interior designers, stylists, Art Directors) and assign them according to the plans. You will also lead the implementation of the plans trough the specialist competences?

Qualifications

Do you have the passion for home furnishing and creating a better every-day work life for the many colleagues?

To be able to succeed in this role you should have documented skills in project leadership and that you have capability to lead and inspire creative people. You are result oriented and get energy from working through people. IKEA experience as an IKEA co-workers or that you have worked for a long period as an external consultant for IKEA is a prerequisite for the position.

We see that you need to have a background as interior design manager, communication & design manager or equivalent position with knowledge in CAD and used to lead creative teams. You should be non-prestigious, open and straightforward when co-operating with others in all situations. You are strategic, proactive and a fact based decision maker with the ability to prioritize and rethink our ways of working. You work in an analytical and structured way. You are enthusiastic, driven and you can easily inspire the other project members and user groups.
