Solution Owner for Demand Forecasting within Solution Area Plan and Balance Sales & Supply - IKEA Business Solutions Range & Supply

We lead and develop solutions through projects, major initiatives and continuous improvement work. We are located in Älmhult and have roles like Solution Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager and Solution Architect.

Solution Area Plan and Balance Sales & Supply (PBSS) is looking for a Solution Owner in the Plan Sales & Demand team that will be mainly responsible for the

application DSP Demand.

DSP Demand is used by Demand Planners in IKEA of Sweden to create a trusted sales forecast. This forecast is an input for many planning and simulation tools within IKEA’s supply chain and beyond.

Together with other Solution Owners in our team you have the end-to-end accountability for the application and are responsible for securing that the application works in an optimal way today and is capable to meet the requirements of tomorrow.

You lead the development of your application and are in charge of securing the lifecycle management, requirement management, testing, budgeting and follow up.
It is further your responsibility to secure that the users of the application understand why and how to use it in an optimal way.

You work in our team closely to our partners in the business, in the process dimension, our software suppliers and service vendors to achieve set goals with best possible resource utilization.
It is also your responsibility to secure that the users of the application understand why and how to use it in an optimal way.

We believe you have experience working with solutions and/or ways of working connected to the supply chain planning process and maybe even in the area of Demand Forecasting.

You are motivated by leading and influencing people i.e. working through others; and are able to interact with strong stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.

You also have an ability to prioritise and assign tasks.

You have communication skills to describe complex topics in a simple and comprehensive way verbally and in writing.
