Job Description

The Administrator in Purchasing & Logistic Area South Europe will contribute to growth and profitability for IKEA by ensuring office administration matters in the safest, most cost efficient, simple and effective way and by monitoring the needs and compliance to policies.

PURPOSE OF FUNCTION

He/she will navigate and steer the business towards sustained long term profitability by:

-Being driven by the IKEA business idea, culture and values, with a focus on sustainable profitability

-Being a pro active trustworthy partner taking a multidimensional view in becoming the leader in life at home

-Identifying and evaluating business opportunities to enable IKEA organisations to make optimum decisions

-Initiating and supporting the development of new ways of working, with focus on simplicity, providing relevant and user friendly business information standardised for all IKEA organizations

ASSIGNMENTS

-Responsible for a highly effective and cost-efficient office administration that supports co-workers in their daily needs such as office cleaning and office maintenance supervision, canteen, pool cars management, general office supply, archives maintenance etc.

-Is responsible for optimal and cost efficient services

-Secure that administrative routines are simple, communicated and monitored

-Contribute in cost follow ups, budget and forecasts connected to office administration

-Secure safety and security matters connected to the office

-Support the co-workers to understand and apply office routines

-When relevant, support with assignment connected to local business needs: support with notary, expatriation and administration support for Transferred Employees, translation services, etc.

-At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA values
