Every year 650 million visitors experience a taste of Sweden in the IKEA Restaurants, Swedish Food Markets and Bistro´s in our different markets. Right now we are looking for 2 Supply Specialists covering parental leaves in our team at IKEA Food Services AB. One temporary contract is from now on till August 2018 and another one from January 2018 till March 2019.

Job Description

The Supplying process at IKEA Food makes the IKEA Food range available to our customers worldwide by buying, producing and distributing our products with focus on availability, cost, quality and social and environmental conditions.

As a Supply Specialist in Business Area Food you lead your range of IKEA Food products by collaborating with different stakeholder inside and outside the Business Area. You are part of the sales and supply planning process, where you set the forecast for your range together with the markets. You cooperate closely with your operational supply chain partners in defining the inventory levels in the distribution centres proactively, as well as working together on day to day supply deviations. You support the product development teams with specialist knowledge for new products as well as for running range. Besides you assume responsibility for other assignments, tasks and projects on regional or global level.

You have supplying competence with business in focus and you see the importance of communicating clearly in a way which engages and inspires others to take actions to achieve our goals. You are able to challenge our ways of thinking and initiate and drive improvements to bring constant development.
We need you to be inspired and motivated by working in an environment that is fast changing, with tight deadlines and in line with the overall IKEA values. We are looking for a person with ability to identify business potential, define development needs to secure implementation of routine changes and new ways of working.
You have previous experience in Logistics/Supply chain and/or adequate logistic education and a thorough understanding of IKEA Supplying process. You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads. You communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal. You have good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications. You are interested in retailing, have a curiosity and passion for food and people and you feel that the IKEA values really reflect on your own values!
