About you
To be successful in this role you need to have a passion for people's everyday life at home, home furnishing and our range. Preferably, you have knowledge of strategic communication and experience in working throughout all dimensions of communication. You have experience in Project Management and as a person you are analytical, structured and methodical. You are a change driver, initiator and you are able to take leadership on tasks, processes and people. You have both a detailed and holistic perspective and you appreciate simplicity. You have excellent communication skills securing IKEA tone of voice and you have the ability to engage and inspire by networking cross functions and organizations. The ability to express yourself confidently and clearly in English is a prerequisite.

About the assignment
The product is not sellable or showable without the product communication surrounding it. Product Communication content consists of all facts, all texts and stories, all visuals, pictures and motion media as well as all communication in and on packages and also store communication.

About the job
You contribute to a successful meeting with the customer by securing high quality product communication for all media.
You analyse the need of product communication content (e.g. texts and visual) by doing a product communication analysis and you take a complete content ownership.
You secure the customer and communication perspective on each product.
You secure a strategic view on the product communication content needs by developing strategies and guidelines per product, category and range as well as delivering to the main communication messages and commercial strategies.
You act as a key contributor when developing a new content types, based on the needs emerging from range, legal compliance, sustainability, customers, markets, media and sales channels.
You act as a project leader when ordering, briefing and approving product communication content, including store communication carriers.
You contribute in the Product Communication budget process by doing a Product Communication overview plan.
You secure the quality of product communication content in Product Information Assistance (PIA) and other back-end databases and handle other administrative tasks connected with creation of product communication.

The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
