Job Description
Right now we are looking for a Business Steering Manager who wants to be a vital enabler navigating IKEA Range & Supply into the future by being a strong business steering partner to our business owners. Someone who wants to lead challenging business driven assignments and apply their business minded approach to a dynamic, changing business. A leader who dares to be different and develop innovative solutions when meeting strategic challenges.
About the assignment
Business Steering support IKEA Range & Supply with basis for decisions to execute our strategies and achieve our business goals. Generating accurate timely facts for taking right business decisions to achieve our business objectives.
As Business Steering Manager you will lead and secure business steering for IKEA Range & Supply and you will report to the Deputy Managing Director of IKEA Range & Supply.
You will have an overall view of Inter IKEA Group Strategies and activities and act as primary business steering lead and interact with IKEA Range & Supply management. You will be actively engaged in securing that decided Business Steering directions and actions are implemented and achieved.
You will lead the scenario planning, annual planning processes and support reporting process in order to make sure that management has the right information at the right time. Steering the goal setting process and development and implementation of KPI’s to monitor the goal achievement and development of the business.
Take the lead in identifying potentials for business improvement, new opportunities and business risks and challenge the status quo with the intent of improving existing solution and processes.
You will also be responsible for managing, leading, developing and coordinating the business steering function and related Business Navigation matrixes.
Qualifications
About you
In order to be successful in this role you need to have several years of experience of business development and financial management and preferably an academic degree in business, finance or equivalent.
We believe you have a passion for business as well as a curiosity in the future of business development, along with proven organisational and interpersonal skills. You are a strong communicator and have the ability to simplify complexity in order to improve business performance. You are a true networker, who builds strong and trustworthy relationships and feel confident in managing and leading cross-functional teams effectively.
Experience of transformation and from working with innovative solutions to shorten distance between supplier and customer.
