We are now looking to recruit Business Navigation Managers to our Category Areas to join our exciting journey!

ABOUT THE JOB

As Business Navigation Manager, you are a key contributor in supporting to drive business performance together with decision makers to come to better decisions, identify new opportunities, and initiate actions that will make IKEA grow and our customers happy. Purchasing is a global organization with teams based in different countries and regions. With Business and People you will explore business opportunities and have simple, efficient, effective and timely processes in place while continuously work with development of the tools and methods. You will lead performance management for a Category Area, which consist of several Categories. You will be part of the management team and report to the Category Area Manager.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

Your main responsibilities as a Business Navigation Manager are:
• Performance management of the categories within the Category Area through analysing and creating insights, identifying opportunities and improvement areas and actively sharing these.
• Accountable for cost performance and headcount planning for overall Category Area.
• Support in creating, implementing and follow-up of the Category Plan.
• As a member of the Business Navigation Matrix in Purchasing contribute to Category/Global projects and as part of Category Area Management Team, contribute to identify and act upon cross-category synergies & opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for goal oriented persons with the ability to implement, deliver results and follow up. Proven leadership capability, ability to create clarity and strong analytical skills is a must, as is having both a holistic view and an eye for details. You have excellent communication skills and easy to build good relations. You will partner with the business to make an impact on the current and future business of home furnishing. You are humble, have willpower and proven ability to create togetherness and enthusiasm around you. You are flexible, used to handling changes and are always striving for simplicity in everything you do. You work proactively, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions and optimize and challenge the existing ones.

In the role of Business Navigation Manager we expect you to have:
• Experience from business leadership and coaching others.
• Experience from working on a strategic level.
• Experience from working with process steering.
• Experience from working within Business Navigation at IKEA.
• An academic degree within finance, business administration, economics or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of calculation systems, MS office package, reporting tools and business information tools such as Qlikview.
• Fluent in English.
