Financial Controlling at IKEA Supply AG is responsible for a wide range of activities including budgeting and forecasting, financial control, performance reporting, Supplier Finance administration, control of Treasury operations and ensuring compliance to external and internal rules and regulations.

This includes the development and maintenance of all necessary financial controls, tools and processes, the co-ordination between the different units in IKEA Range & Supply and Inter IKEA Group Finance and as well the co-ordination with external parties such as suppliers, authorities, external auditors, insurance companies, environmental organisations, etc.

In the area of Supplier Finance the team administrates and controls loan and credit applications from IKEA suppliers and monitors and administrates the financing of tools.

About the job

In this position you:

• Analyse costs, sales and gross profit results within IKEA Supply AG (ISAG) and IKEA Supply Chain and explain or act on any deviations.

• Produce accurate and timely financial information about the supply chain and its business units’ financial status and performance to enable decisions to be taken relating to the organization's
  financial strength and risk.

• Act as a point of contact with internal and external parties (Auditors, Insurance companies, Environmental Organisations, Customs Departments) and provide the required financial information.

• Secure the stock taking process for the goods owned by ISAG worldwide and report on the outcome of the process by means of suitable KPIs.

• Establish, operate and monitor financial controls to safeguard the company assets and to support the organization in the fulfilment of its business objectives.

• Issue, review and improve working methods and processes in the IKEA Supply Chain with a main focus on financial and legal matters.
  

About you

You bring with you a broad experience from finance, controlling/navigation and/or supply chain and you have the ability to create good relations and alignment between stakeholders. We also see that you:

• Have a structured way of working and enjoy going into the details but never lose the “big picture”

• Have strong analytical skills and pay attention to details

• Have a strong knowledge of different controlling tools such as Excel, Access, Cognos

• Are truly interested in the underlying business reasons to changes in financials figures

• Are a strong communicator with the ability to convey complex information in a simplistic way

• Show trust and integrity

• Are fluent in English
