IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

About you
Are you a highly committed and self-driven person who want to contribute to improving our products? Do you have a passion for product quality and safety? Then this position just might be for you. With a strong business mind you use your communications skills to build trustful relationships and cooperation to reach results. You naturally share your knowledge with colleagues around you and also learn from them. You are analytical and able to both find patterns in data but also root causes. You enjoy finding new improved ways of working, you love to use your creativity as well as working in an ever changing environment.

Furthermore we believe you have/are:
•    A degree within engineering or comparable experience.
•    Preferably you have been working with product quality, coordinating quality related information and used quality improvement tool in your daily work.
•    Fluent in English both written and spoken.

About the assignment

As a Product Quality Navigator you are process owner for our Quality and Safety alarm process. You are also supporting in creating goals and KPIs related to the operative quality of our products in the business area. You give input on areas of improvement into our product development teams and the product development process by gathering data around incidents, accidents and quality issues. Furthermore your main responsibilities will be:

•    Handling safety and quality alarms.
•    Facilitate product safety risk assessments to ensure the right level of quality for all products
•    Lead quality and safety deviations. Secure that actions to correct and prevent the deviations are taken in close cooperation with all stakeholders within IKEA.
•    Analyse quality KPI’s and customer feedback in your business team and translate it into concrete projects/actions, focusing on improving quality and safety
•    Support the business team with the specialist competence to secure that process are followed and the usage of the quality tools.

Additional Information

IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English both verbal and written. The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
