IKEA Business Solutions Range & Supply, a part of IKEA of Sweden,  provide business solutions for IKEA Range & Supply, we bring IT and business competencies together through common ways of working. We are responsible for developing new business solutions and keeping existing solutions relevant and running. Within our organization we gather competencies in solution management, project management, and architecture.

Business Navigation, as one of the support functions, is an active partner in steering IKEA Business Solutions Range & Supply to secure short and long-term business goals and strategies. Business Navigation will support efficient and optimal utilization of total invested money for IT-related initiatives and solutions within Range & Supply.

Job Description

Background & Assignment

As Business Navigator in Business Solutions Range & Supply, you have an important role to play in supporting the tactical and operational work and enabling proactive steering. You will also be able to actively participate in activities with the aim to improve and simplify ways of working connected to the Finance & Business Navigation area.

By joining Business Solutions Range & Supply you will be part of our Business Navigation community and support one or several of our Solution Areas. In your daily work you will be interacting with people from all over the world, you will get the chance to grow both personally and professionally with the challenges we have ahead of us. Furthermore you will get the opportunity to learn more about IKEA Range and the Supply chain.

The Business Navigator reports to the Business Navigation & Portfolio Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities

As Business Navigator you will:
• Secure that correct financial information is available when needed and be responsible for the monthly closing process including accruals, consolidating and reporting.
• Support the forecast and budget processes within your assigned area and prepare and provide accurate financial and performance reporting to your stakeholders.
• Actively support our business development projects and solution management with recurrent follow-ups and analysis.
• Raise cost-consciousness and give incentives to cost-saving activities by providing a good cost transparency.
• Be an ambassador for common ways of working and secure that we work according to our financial and Business navigation guidelines and principles.
• Initiate, participate and lead ad hoc activities and improvements of working methods and processes as a part of the Business Navigation Community.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who is highly motivated, decisive and analytical, with a strong drive to reach result. You need to be able to dig into details but still have the ability to understand how decisions and processes impact the totality. You have a service minded approach and the ability to create confidence and build relations on all levels. You take initiative, contribute with own ideas, and have the courage to question and challenge. As part of a continuously developing organisation you must also be able to adapt to change.

You have a Bachelor degree or corresponding knowledge in relevant area (e.g. Business Administration and/or controlling). You have at least five years of business controlling experience preferably from working in a larger organisation and/or IT organisation. You have good knowledge in the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel. You are a good communicator and as English is our corporate language, the ability to express yourself in English is a prerequisite.

This position is full time with starting date according to agreement and will primarily be based in Helsingborg. As we work in an international environment travelling between our main locations (Älmhult, Helsingborg, Malmö, Dortmund and Pratteln) may be necessary.
