Business Navigation Manager - IKEA RAnge & Supply, Category Food - Malmö

IKEA of Sweden, or IoS, is responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world. IoS is based in Älmhult – the heart of IKEA and the centre of IKEA range development. Business Solutions Range & Supply is a part of IKEA of Sweden.

IKEA food is a fast growing business area with high focus and ongoing rapid and exciting transformation. As part of this journey, we are establishing a Category Area Food, with the responsibility of all food purchasing – we are currently recruiting the team who should make our purchasing world class!

Category Area food is newly established as the 8th category area, and tasked to setup world class food purchasing for IKEA.

As Business Navigation Manager you will take lead in steering the business towards fact-based business and goal achievement. You facilitate a strong performance culture and lead with insights in order to identify business potentials and enable innovation. You work actively to develop how to work, lead and organise in your unit in order to secure risk management, overall process implementation and compliance. You are instrumental in building the structures to support the business.

Other responsibilities included in the assignment are;
• Enabling business development and innovation by being an active partner in business planning; securing that market, consumer and business intelligence is analysed and acted upon, identifying potentials
and risks in and around the business and exploring the future by building scenarios and contingency plans.
• Securing conditions for fact-based business, end-to-end by navigating and steering across the IKEA business model with a total cost and bottom-line profitability focus.
• Securing overall implementation and compliance to processes and ways of working by securing governance structure, deviations handling, meeting calendar and year cycle in the unit.
• Being responsible for communicating business results and goal achievement in a clear and inspiring way, making business analysis available and actionable and for working actively with raising overall business understanding in the unit.
• Being responsible for leading and developing Category Area Business Navigation and coordinate within purchasing as well as with Business Area Food.
• Leading resource & budget planning/forecasting and co-leading organisational development
