ABOUT THE JOB

The Business Navigator is an active Business partner to teams and decision makers and leads with fact based insights and active risk management as well as scenario planning and modelling. You lead performance management in all performance areas, in all dimensions and project portfolio management from business planning to execution in order to ensure goal achievement.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

As a Business navigator you are responsible for:
• Influencing and enabling fact based decision making through quickly generating insights based on consumer, market and business information.
• Together with the team, identifying opportunities and risks through scenario planning, modelling, risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Leading and coordinating different processes, i.e. range dimensioning, internal pricing and sales and supply planning across the Business area.
• Performance management of the product range within the Business Area through analyzing and creating insights, identifying opportunities and improvement areas and actively sharing these.
• Leading project and portfolio management as well as general range management on overall level

You have an analytical and business driven mind-set with the responsibility of creating insights, translating figures and customer insights into opportunities to enable growth for IKEA and to reach more of the many people.

We are looking for communicative, driven and goal oriented person with the ability to analyse, deliver results and follow up. Leadership capability, ability to create clarity around a complex topic and build relationships across teams and functions are essential. You have willpower and the ability to create togetherness and enthusiasm around you. You are flexible, used to handling changes, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions and optimize and challenge the existing ones.

You have experience from working with navigation, or in a similar role, in a global context. If you have knowledge within e-commerce, consumer intelligence and/or retail, it is a plus. As a base you have an academic degree within business administration or similar. You are an experienced user in calculation systems and familiar with business information tools, for example Qlikview which is the one we use.
