The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1200 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.

We are looking for a Talent Manager with high passion for developing business and people together and with the capabilities to lead and develop the global Talent Agenda for IKEA Components.

Job Description

You will work in a global context and lead the Talent agenda throughout the organisation. Your overall assignment is to develop and implement processes and methods that will secure that we have the right people in the right place and at the right time. You are responsible for developing our way of attracting, recruiting and developing people that live our culture and values and that will enable us to grow and achieve IKEA Components assignment. You will develop, lead and facilitate different leadership and competence development processes and initiatives, as well as securing systematic and successful recruitment and succession planning. Together with our Core Competence leader you support our matrix leaders to create attractive learning offers for our core roles. You are part of the Range and Supply Learning and Development matrix and by that our speaking partner when it comes to recruitment and competence development needs and implementing common ways of working. Another part of the assignment will be to lead our work to become a truly diverse, inclusive and learning organisation. You are part of the HR and Competence Team and report directly to the Global Competence Mgr.


Furthermore you will be responsible for;
-Developing and implementing a new succession approach and process for IKEA Components
-The overall recruitment strategy for IKEA Components
-Leading and co-ordinate the work with Management and Competence Review for IKEA Components
-Facilitate our different Management groups

Qualifications

We believe that you have a solid experience within Talent Management covering strategic recruitment and succession planning as well as leadership and competence development. You have a proven successful track record in translating business needs into competence needs and transform them in to recruitment and competence development solutions. You are a skilled facilitator with excellent communication and presentation skills and with the ability to build trustful relationships. You are eager to drive change and you enjoy finding new ways of working and solving problems. You are the person who has high passion and proven ability to lead and develop people and you are an ambassador of the IKEA Culture and Values.

Additional Information

You will be placed in Älmhult, but will from time to time travel to our sites in Slovakia and China, which gives you the opportunity to work and interact with people from all parts of the organization.
