IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA store with home furbishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000
new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

You are a strategic business partner with solid experience from across the IKEA Businesses with a broad interest in maximising business performance through a broad set of performance indicators.

You are a senior leader who has proven record of passionate and strong leadership and ability to coach and challenge across different business topics.

Qualifications

About the assignment

Business Area Living room and Workspaces includes Home Furnishing Business (HFB) 01 (Livingroom
Seating), HFB02 (Livingroom Storage) and HFB03 (Workspaces).

As Business Navigation Manager you will take lead in steering the business towards growth and goal achievement. You facilitate a strong performance culture and lead with insights in order to identify business potentials and enable innovation. You work actively to develop how to work, lead and organise in your unit in order to secure risk management, overall process implementation and compliance.

Other responsibilities included in the assignment are;

  • Enabling business development and innovation by being an active partner in business planning; securing that market, consumer and business intelligence is analysed and acted upon, identifying potentials
    and risks in and around the business and exploring the future by building scenarios and contingency plans.
  • Securing conditions for long term sustainable profitability, end-to-end by navigating and steering across the IKEA business model with a total cost and bottom-line profitability focus.
  • Securing overall implementation and compliance to processes and ways of working by securing governance structure, deviations handling, meeting calendar and year cycle in the unit.
  • Being responsible for communicating business results and goal achievement in a clear and inspiring way, making business analysis available and actionable and for working actively with raising overall business understanding in the unit.
  • Being responsible for leading and developing the Business Navigation team and Business Navigation co-workers in the unit.
  • Leading resource & budget planning/forecasting and co-leading organisational development.

Your work is based in Älmhult, an inspiring, international environment, endorsed by creativity and innovation, and it also involves an amount of international travel. You work with and lead a dedicated navigation team and you are connected to many co-workers & stakeholders across IKEA that work together within the Living rooms and Workspaces business. You are part of the BA management team and report to Sabine Berntsson, Business Area Manager Living room and Workspaces, IKEA of Sweden.
