IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

About you

We believe that you are highly committed and self-driven person. You have a passion for children safety and product quality and will contribute on improving our products. You will be having a strong business mind, you use your communications skills to build trustful relationships and cooperation to reach results. You naturally share your knowledge with colleagues around you and also learn from them. You are analytical and able to both find patterns in data but also root causes. Having your inner child curiosity you find new improved ways of working, by using your creativity skills and as well as working in an ever changing environment.

Furthermore you have strong communication skills and the ability to create confidence and build relations. You are self-motivated and a goal- and delivery oriented person with a passion for details.

We believe that you have:

• A university degree in Engineering or equivalent.

• Experienced in different safety/quality improvement tools.

• Good understanding of IKEA range, processes and customer needs.

About the assignment

As Product Quality Navigator, you will be responsible for the safety risk assessment process within the department. You will facilitate and document the Product risk assessments and secure that all safety aspects are taken into consideration. You will be supporting business teams with safety knowledge and guidance. You will take the lead for safety and compliance deviations. Investigate and secure that actions to correct and prevent the deviations are taken in close cooperation with the relevant stakeholders.You will be responsible for handling safety and compliance alarms for Children’s products. Furthermore you will be responsible for the capture learnings and actively share knowledge connected to product quality/safety and deviations.

Additional Information

IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English both verbal and written.

The position is Temporary for a year, and located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
