Job Description
The Health and Wellbeing Advisor plays a key role in designing and delivering a Group-wide psychological health and wellbeing framework that aims to enhance the physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of our workforce. In this newly created role, you’ll lead injury prevention, early intervention, and recovery support programs while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
- Lead health and wellbeing initiatives, collaborating with leaders to align strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of psychological wellbeing
- Lead the development, delivery and maintenance of health, safety and wellbeing education, training and promotional packages
- Promote proactive psychological risk and wellbeing management through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Develop and implement action plans to address identified psychosocial health hazards
- Coordinate injury prevention, early intervention and support for recovery strategies
- Coordinate workplace inspections and risk assessments and the preparation of reports to ensure compliance with Corporate, legislative requirements
- Coordinate health and wellbeing programs, focusing on psychosocial risk management and psychological health and safety initiatives
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on topics related to health, safety and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Health Science or Human Resources
- Previous experience working in psychosocial safety, corporate wellbeing, business psychology, health promotion and/or Human Resource risk management
- Previous experience in blue-collar roles or related fields is highly advantageous.
- Ability to contribute effectively to a team, including team communication processes and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and project management are essential
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines in a large, complex organisation
