Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Head of Product to help shape the strategic direction and vision for IntelligenceBank’s product portfolio. Analysing performance, identifying and implementing growth opportunities, you'll lead product strategy and objectives, oversee the product development team and maintain deep market and competitive landscape knowledge to inform strategic decisions, investment and prioritisation of portfolio activities.  

Please note this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office. 

This is a key role for the business with a broad scope of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Voice of the Customer

  • Undertake continuous market analysis and discovery to inform product portfolio strategy and derive actionable insights. Apply insights to improve our understanding of market opportunities and customer needs to make fact-based decisions to direct strategic product decisions, development priorities and delivery. 
  • Understand the needs of our customers and represent them in all stages of the product development lifecycle.  Tap into other ‘voices of the customer’ within the company to consolidate insights against Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).

People and Performance

  • Support your team members to set and deliver against their goals; recognise and reward high performance, provide feedback and coaching to support their development.
  • Coach, mentor and provide guidance to other members of the Product team to develop their capabilities and broaden their knowledge of all stages of development lifecycle.

Product Strategy and problem solving

  • With support from the Head of Product Strategy, set the strategic direction and objectives and establish a shared vision within your team that aligns to IntelligenceBank’s strategic priorities
  • Apply deep knowledge of our markets, customers, competitors and partners to identify strategic opportunities and solve customer and business problems in ways that deliver measurable customer and business value
  • Lead implementation of cross-functional strategic projects and changes to the product roadmap to meet changing customer needs.

Product Development

  • Lead and enable the team in product planning, customer and product discovery and product development processes; drive the team’s ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively.
  • Lead prioritisation of product initiatives across the entire product portfolio, aligned to the achievement of IntelligenceBank’s goals and which maximise return on investment.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the core value proposition is understood and effectively communicated and positioned in market
  • Collaborate with GTM and Operations to develop product pricing, core product positioning and marketing campaigns for product and feature releases.

Product Performance and Commercial Strategy

  • Analyse and measure product performance to identify growth opportunities and lagging areas; make resource adjustments and prioritisation decisions to keep products on track and deliver to agreed outcomes.
  • Utilise data and insights to drive iterative cycle of product development that identifies and implements improvements in line with the evolving needs of customer and market; leverage data to drive evaluation of build, buy or partner decisions
  • Drive a data-informed product culture that links product vision and strategy to commercial outcomes

Product Leadership

  • Ensure cross team dependencies are identified, understood by all affected teams, and then properly managed with a clear set of responsibilities for all.
  • Lead cross functional teams (CS, Sales, Marketing, Development) to deliver quality product solutions which deliver to agreed outcomes and which focus on the generation of business and customer value.

We’re looking for a driven individual who possesses a curious mind and is keen to be part of a growing business. You’re comfortable working at pace and in a greenfield environment. Change is constant here so we’re always looking for self-starters who can get roll up their sleeves and crack on! To ensure your success in the role we do have a few key requirements so read on and see if any of these align with your skills and experience: 

  • Experience in product management for enterprise grade martech products
  • B2B SaaS product management background is essential, with Private Equity exposure a bonus
  • Decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Planning skills and experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to develop and maintain relationships – a diplomat yet a driver of outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Significant software development background is advantageous
  • Self-motivated and capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions
  • Ability to adapt to and deal with ambiguity
  • Innovative and forward-looking mindset
  • Genuine interest in emerging technologies
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • Sense of urgency and focus on delivering results
