To support us in realising our ambitious goals, we are looking for a talented Senior Front End Developer who is proficient in React.js. Your primary focus will be developing frontend components implementing well-known React.js workflows. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative, problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. You will work in modern enterprise web stack with a growing development team. 

Here’s a snapshot of your main responsibilities.

General

• Develop and maintain technical documentation

• Develop efficient, scalable and robust code using ReactJS

• Work directly with design/product teams to realise designs

• Ensure best engineering practises are met

• Write tested and maintainable code

• Investigate and resolve code issues

• Provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the team

• Assist the team to solve complex technical problems

• Research and contribute towards technical design/specification

To help us get a sense of your experience please include a link to your GitHub or Bitbucket profile or provide us with any examples of your work that you're happy to share. In addition here are the skills and experience we feel will help you succeed in this role:

• Experience working on large scale web applications

• Deep Javascript and CSS knowledge, experience with React

• Understanding of, or experience with Material UI or Bootstrap, Jest/React-testing-library

• Unit Testing and TDD experience

• Knowledge of Redux and Redux-saga

• Experience with Linux shell scripting

• Amazon AWS knowledge

• Previous experience in a CI/CD environment

• Web security understanding, e.g. XSS, CSRF, session theft

• Performance monitoring and optimisation considerations, e.g. caching, or javascript performance
