The Role
We are seeking a creative and skilled Front End Engineer to craft the user-facing experience of our mobile platform. You will be responsible for building beautiful, intuitive, and highly performant interfaces that allow users to connect with their AI companions in a seamless and immersive way. This role is crucial for translating the complexity of our AI into an engaging and emotionally resonant user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build the window into the world of our AI companions.

A Note on Content: Please note that our platform is designed to facilitate a wide spectrum of relationships and user expression, which includes adult themes and NSFW content. As a front end engineer, you will be building UI components and user flows that present this content. Candidates must be comfortable and professional in an environment that handles adult subject matter.

What You'll Do
● Build the Mobile Interface: Develop and maintain the user interface for our mobile applications using React Native.
● Create Immersive Experiences: Build responsive and stateful UIs that make interactions with AI companions feel real-time and personal on mobile devices.
● Connect to the AI: Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with APIs,
ensuring efficient and reliable data flow between the client and our AI systems.
● Pixel-Perfect Implementation: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, polished code for iOS and Android.
● Optimize for Performance: Ensure the application is fast, responsive, and optimized for mobile devices, paying close attention to things like battery life and memory usage.
● Champion Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best practices in mobile front-end architecture, code quality, and user accessibility

Who You Are
● Experienced Mobile Developer: You have 3-5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio of complex, user-facing mobile applications.
● React Native Expert: You have deep expertise in React Native and its ecosystem, with a proven track record of shipping production-level applications to the App Store and Google Play Store.
● UI Craftsman: You are proficient in styling for React Native and have a strong sense of visual design and mobile user experience.
● API Savvy: You have extensive experience consuming RESTful APIs and are comfortable working with complex data structures in a mobile context.
● Collaborative Partner: You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a cross-functional team to bring a product vision to life.
● User-Focused: You are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and can think from the user's perspective.

Bonus Points
● Experience with real-time communication technologies like WebSockets.
● Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
● Experience with TypeScript.
● Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox, Appium).
● Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java).
