Job Description
We are seeking a Project Specialist to successfully lead small projects delivering Radiology and/or Cardiology Healthcare IT solutions. This role requires coordination of Professional Services resources, schedule management of project deliverables, customer issue resolution, and creation of project plans, status reports, and project documentation. The Project Specialist I will deliver results under tight timelines while managing multiple small projects and supporting senior team members. Additionally, this role manages project financial oversight to ensure successful delivery within time and budget.
The mission of this role is to proactively ensure customer projects achieve desired results at all stages, realizing the full value of our software and services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in project planning for small projects and manage schedules under guidance from senior team members
Support implementation team coordination and participate in cross-departmental collaboration
Plan, update, and execute project plans while assisting with customer issue resolution
Create and distribute status reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation
Oversee project financial management to ensure delivery within time and budget
Act as the primary point of contact for small customer projects, fostering trust in successful milestone delivery
Initiate and manage the delivery of products and services under the supervision of leadership and senior project team members
Prepare, manage, and communicate key project information on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in customer-facing planning and delivery-related roles
Must be able to qualify for CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification within 18 months of service
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to build relationships with clients at operational levels
Demonstrated collaborative partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements
Experience in Healthcare IT, specifically Radiology or Cardiology solutions
Existing CAPM or PMP certification
Familiarity with enterprise imaging platforms or medical software implementations
Experience managing project financials and budgets
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Travel Requirements
This position requires up to 10% travel, mainly throughout North America

Additional Information
The base pay for this position ranges from $56,250/year to $75,000/year USD within any geographic market in the US. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Intelerad is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered. Bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, retirement, PTO, and/or other benefits.
