Job Description

As part of our Research and Development department, reporting to the Development Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing and executing manual and automation test strategies with a particular focus on the company’s automation goals.

Test Automation Development (70%)

  • Prepare and execute testing strategies & develop automated test plans for infrastructure and application platforms in a cloud environment

  • Apply professional design and development best-practices

  • Balance deadlines, functionality, and quality

  • Lead in the improvement of and adherence to Intelerad’s policies, procedures, and practices

  • Proficiency in product knowledge and business space

  • Understand the constraints of operating in a regulated development environment

  • Maintain and improve the product’s devops pipeline

  • Document your work appropriately (requirements, designs, code, training information, etc.)

Project Management (20%)

  • Participate in project scoping, requirements gathering, and time estimation with minimal supervision.

  • Strive to complete your deliverables according to requirements and within the time estimates.

  • Provide management with accurate and timely data regarding task progress.

Teamwork (10%)


Minimum of 2 years of related QA automation experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of methodologies and technologies in QA areas

  • Professional release management practices

  • Linux / UNIX environment

Ability to work both independently and in an Agile team-oriented and collaborative environment



Python and/or Go development experience

  • Infrastructure testing using Go, Python boto3

Experience with AWS cloud technologies

  • IAM, IRSA, Route 53, VPC, RDS, SNS, EKS

  • AWS CodeBuild and Code pipeline

Experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies

  • Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform

Experience with DevOps tools

  • Flux (GitOps), Helm, Consul
