Job Description

Find your niche

As a Network Services Architect, you will provide leadership and perform a variety of duties related to client projects for Integris.  Responsibilities include: providing leadership in client and internal projects, serving as a technical resource for Integris, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating technologies for Integris and related client projects.  All development and implementations will be conducted in accordance with standards set forth by Integris and other information technology standards.  Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relations with co-workers and clients.

Here are some of the daily responsibilities associated with this role:

Provide leadership and technical direction required to implement and deploy Integris Network Service products such as Internet Access, Private WAN and customer network environments

  • Accurately estimate the effort required for completion of projects and the impact of requested changes to scheduled tasks and milestones
  • Work with Salespeople to conduct Business Consultations and provide recommendations appropriate Network Services product fit
  • Perform project management activities to ensure the timely delivery of projects
  • Communicate to client with the highest level of customer service on scheduled install status, overall project status, or any other identified client request in a timely and accurate manner
  • Apply standards to system requirements and design and evaluation of project process and outcome
  • Demonstrate professional attitude with client over the phone, on-site and through emails to resolve all client project requests/questions
  • Provide recommendations through the project lifecycle to clients method, processes, hardware/software to ensure a better working environment for end-user
  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications
  • Design, testing, documentation, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems

Consult and works closely with clients and co-workers to ensure development and implementation of strong technology solutions for internal use and clients

  • Function as Team Leader for a Network Services Team
  • Collaborate with sales staff and various services departments to provide quotes
  • Research emerging technologies and recommends use
  • Collaborate with co-workers to resolve any problems/situations that may arise
  • Assist in the development of cost benefit analysis for different technology solutions

Is responsible for personal and professional development to ensure continued growth, development, and ability to assist with leading Integris and co-workers in the future with the development of technology and business trends

  • Identify trends in the industry and assists in evaluating the impact of those trends on the organization
  • Continue training, education, and certification accreditation from vendor partners (Juniper, Cisco, HP, Cambium, Ubiquiti, Trango) 

Design/create standard patterns to be followed/implemented, including

  • Standard customer-facing/external project templates
  • Standard Infrastructure/internal project templates
  • Product definition (beyond the project/implementation portion)
  • Significant input into business-level decisions, such as standardization of interfaces and SLAs, new product development
  • Assess, develop and implement automation
  • Assist in any other projects or tasks assigned by supervisor

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Information Technology with high level of communication skills, specifically with a focus on Service Provider operation
  • Education:  Bachelors’ degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent education/experience; CCNA or equivalent
  • Experience Requirements: 5 years working in Information Technology
