Job Description

Position Details

  • This role utilizes various systems to support multiple external clients by creating financial reports and analyses (in our support system and Excel).  The ability to highlight and explain variances is key to this role, as is rapidly identifying and correcting calculation errors or system issues
  • Successful candidate will initiate, develop, and manage professional relationships with key internal colleagues
  • The Analyst will complete a multitude of tasks within the organization and be responsible for collaborating with colleagues in remote locations of varying positions

Job Profile

  • Gather transactional data, reconcile data to General Ledger, load data to source system
  • Resolve errors in the GTN system based on defined set of rules and perform correction where required
  • Generate deliverables based off system results
  • Meeting contractual deadlines (SLAs), effectively managing workload to accommodate challenging timelines
  • Review and revise process documentation and ensure it is up to date, create necessary including work instructions and align with RACI policy.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Monitors and reviews data output from the system for consistency and formatting

Qualifications

  • Meeting contractual deadlines (SLAs), effectively managing workload to accommodate challenging timelines
  • Review and revise process documentation and ensure it is up to date, create necessary including work instructions and align with RACI policy.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Monitors and reviews data output from the system for consistency and formatting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex financial models
  • Rapidly learn new software and be able to analyze large volumes of data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Process oriented individual with strong organizational and planning skills required to coordinate with external clients
  • Ability to work with a remote management team on multiple clients in an office environment
  • Prerequisite

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university (information management, finance, accounting, or other business discipline required)
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is desirable
  • Working knowledge of Managed care, Medicaid, GPO Contracting, or Government Pricing is preferred
  • Experience with financial report generation, a working knowledge of MS-Office and Excel is must
  • Preferred familiarity with GTN calculations and revenue recognition in the pharmaceutical industry
