Job Description
Reports To: Vice President, System Implementations
Job Purpose: As a Principle Business Consultant, you will couple consulting and business skills with domain expertise to design, build and implement complex business solutions for pharmaceutical clients. With experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your talents to take lead roles on client projects and contribute to IntegriChain’s project methodologies, engagement strategies and industry solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES: A Principle Business Consultant will be accountable for the following:
- Develop and deliver insightful, value-added strategies and solutions that address complex client issues
- Provide direction, advice, and thought leadership to customers
- Lead functional area workstreams in specific customer engagements
- Perform tasks related to the execution of a client engagement without day-to-day supervision, demonstrates high levels of operating autonomy and knows appropriate time to seek assistance and review of work products
- Functional and reporting requirements gathering/documentation and business process design
- System design and configuration activities
- Test plans/scripts creation
- Test execution, support and defect resolution
- Generation of project documentation as needed
- Create and elevate new business through identifying value-added follow-on work and/or new revenue opportunities with new and existing client organizations
- Mentor and share subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class solutions for clients.
- Build and maintain customer relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related fields and/or equivalent experience Master’s degree or MBA preferred, Finance or Pharmaceutical Management MBA a plus
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical or related work experience including prior leadership or management roles. Consulting experience preferred.
- Model N, Vistex, iContracts or other revenue management or government pricing compliance software experience required.
- Pharmaceutical domain experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Government Contracting and Pricing
- AMP, ASP, BP, NFAMP, PHS/340b, etc.
- Medicaid Drug Rebate Program claims processing
- Commercial Contracting
- Managed Care Rebates
- Purchase Based Rebates
- Chargebacks
- Government Contracting and Pricing
- Experience with evaluating business/functional requirements in order to create system requirements, functional specifications, test plans, test scripts and the execution of system testing
- Proficiency with requirements, design and implementation of complex business reporting needs
- Experience with information architecture and delivery
- Experience facilitating large and complex teams including experience working with technical and non-technical staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have experience leading meetings with senior executives
- Strong client facing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business
- Demonstrated business development skills by participating in proposal development and presentations and ability to identify and assist in the closure of add-on sales
- Works willingly and effectively with others to accomplish team goals
- SQL experience a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
