Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) is seeking a highly experienced SAP BI Consultant to support enterprise-level applications within the Applications Development Section. The role involves Tier II and Tier III support, as well as development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP BI solutions across systems, including S4HANA, SAP ECC 6.0, and SAP BI 7.4.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions, dashboards, and data models while ensuring performance, scalability, and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reporting solutions using HANA Studio, CDS Views, Analytic Queries, and BEx Queries
• Build dashboards and reports using SAP BI tools such as Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence, and Analysis for OLAP
• Perform data modeling (star schema, cubes, ODS), ETL processes, and data extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources
• Optimize performance using AMDP, SQL scripting, and BI process chains
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements for BI solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Support training and onboarding of BI users

• Strong experience in SAP BI/BW (7.4 or higher) with enterprise-scale implementations
•  Deep expertise in SAP S4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS Views, Analytic Queries) 
•  Hands-on experience with HANA Studio, AMDP, and SQL scripting for performance optimization
•  Strong experience in BEx Analyzer, Query Designer, Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office/OLAP
•  Expertise in data modeling (star schema, InfoCubes, ODS, master data design) 
•  Experience in ETL processes, including: 
•  SAP & non-SAP data extraction 
•  Custom extractors 
•  Process chains and data loading automation 
•  Experience with SAP ABAP in BI context (enhancements, extractors, routines) 
•  Strong focus on performance tuning, scalability, and BI system optimization
•  Experience designing end-to-end BI architecture and reporting solutions
•  Ability to interact with business stakeholders and translate requirements into BI solutions
•  Experience in mentoring developers and training BI users
•  Prior experience in federal or highly regulated environments (strongly preferred)
