Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: US-MD-Baltimore
Responsibilities:
Integres, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to join us and support a state level agency client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly skilled technical writer to join our team and provide comprehensive and compelling technical documentation. The Technical Writer is responsible for developing and contributing to technical documents, solution summaries, writing assessment results and writing client recommendations provided by our engineering team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Compile technical subject matter and organize information from multiple sources (client, end user, technical team members) and express technical information in written format that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
- Draft, edit and refine network assessment findings as well as write our contractual required final technical recommendations
- Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and government regulations.
- A hands-on approach to understanding the technology and products being documented, with a keen ability to learn new technologies quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation standards that are measurable across the technical writing team, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Comply with contractual, government, and company style guides, compliance requirements and professional standards
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network engineering projects including network/wifi assessments
- Experience writing assessment summaries and final technical recommendations
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years technical writing experience preferably in technology
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Demonstrated technical writing experience for network and/or infrastructure projects
- Ability to pay attention and capture detailed content, and confirm technical material for consistency and accuracy
- Confirm technical material for consistency and accuracy
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
