Job Description
1. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in BA/BS Degree or relevant field.
2. The position is a Remote positions but may require occasional in-person meetings in Frederick (VA customer office), Fredericksburg (VA customer office) or Fairfax (prime contractor HQ).
3. Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports.
4. Determining program requirements and making recommendations.
5. Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.
6. Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.
7. Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.
8. Assessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.
9. Advising program managers with regard to planning, testing, and implementing new programs or systems.
10. Identifying and resolving issues and problems.
11. Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.
12. Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Program Analyst, Management Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of multiple databases and software systems.
- Ability to collect and analyze complex sets of data.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Performs tasks requiring program planning, audits, and evaluations related to large scale programs.
- Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, Congressional Affairs, metrics, Financial Management Systems, and risk management.
