Job Description
1. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in BA/BS Degree or relevant field.
2. The position is a Remote positions but may require occasional in-person meetings in Frederick (VA customer office), Fredericksburg (VA customer office) or Fairfax (prime contractor HQ).
3. Track open market procurement requests to ensure requirements are delivered to the customer in accordance with required delivery dates. Provide a status summary to the Procurement Managers for integration into weekly status charts.
4. Coordinate with vendors to acquire proof of delivery needed for timely payment certification of invoices by the Procurement Managers.
5. Respond to emails, requesting assistance, within two days to acknowledge receipt of the email.
6. Ability to effectively process, document, and interpret technical specifications of technical data packages and communicate these throughout the lifecycle of the procurement process in the Fleet Procurement Program.
7. Familiarity with common technical terms and specifications relative to medical products, supplies, and services, and the ability to effectively communicate these with vendors and/or customers.
8.Ability to enter logistics data in electronic systems accurately and quickly.
9. Ability to communicate with the customer and provide an exceptional level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience
Performs tasks related to developing procurement request packages, while supporting program office activities.
Tasks may include supporting the development of requirements, market research, estimates, and other related documentation.
